Indistinct rings, vessel in tangential and radial multiples, simple perforations, vessel diameter 30-70 µm, scalariform intervessel pits, fibers thin-to thick-walled, rare paratracheal parenchyma, round and scalariform vessel-ray pits, mostly homocellular rays with upright cells, rarely heterocellular with a few prostrate cells.
