Distinct rings, diffuse- to semi-ring porous, vessels mostly in groups, simple perforation, vessel diameter 40-80µm, with helical thickenings, fibers with large pits, fibers thin- to thick-walled, parenchyma indistinct, rays uni seriate and 4-8seriate, heterocellular with many prostrate and a few upright cells.
