Distinct rings, semi-ring-porous, vessels in irregular radial and dendritic groups, vessel diameter 40 – 70mµ, simple perforations, with thin helical thickenings, fibers with small pits, fibers thin to thick-walled, parenchyma paratracheal, rays 1-3 seriate, heterogeneous with a few prostrate and many rows of upright cells.
