Xylem

Indistinct rings, ring porous, 150 -250 µm in diameter, earlywood vessels in short radial multipels, simple perforations, fibers thin to thick-walled, parenchyma paratracheal and in large tangential bands, ray width 6-12 cells, heterocellular with central prostrate and a few marginal square or upright cells, a few isolated prismatic crystals in axial parenchyma cells.
