Distinct rings, semi-ring porous, 30-50 µm in diameter, vessels solitary, simple perforations, with helical thickenings, fibers thin-to thick-walled with large pits, parenchyma not to recognize, rays biseriate, heterocellular with central prostrate and a few marginal square and upright cells.
