Distinct rings, diffuse porous, 40-80 µm in diameter, vessels solitary, scalariform perforations, fibers thin-to thick-walled with large pits, parenchyma apotracheal diffuse and terminal, rays 1-2 cells in width, heterocellular with prostrate cells in the center and 1-3 marginal upright cells.
