Xylem

Distinct rings, diffuse porous, 30-70 µm in diameter, vessels solitary, in short radial multiples and in groups, no vessels in the latewood, scalariform perforations, fibers thin-walled with small pits, parenchyma apotracheal diffuse, rays uniseriate and 3-4 seriate, homocellular with upright cells.
