Indistinct rings, vessels solitary and in small radial multiples, simple perforations, round intervessel pits, intervessel pits alternate, vessel diameter 50-110 µm, parenchyma in large indistinct tangential bands alternating with fiber bands, ray width 4-8 cells, heterocellular with many prostrate and a many square and upright cells, with a prismatic crystals and crystal sand in rays and axial parenchyma cells.
