Distinct rings, diffuse porous, often >60-90 µm in diameter, vessels in short radial multiples and in small groups, simple perforations, fibers thin-walled, fibers with small pits, parenchyma apotracheal-diffuse, rays homocellular, 2-4 seriate, rays enlarged at ring boundaries.
