Indistinct rings, vessel mostly solitary, simple perforation, vessel diameter 30-40µm, round intervessel pits, fibers thick-walled, rare parenchyma, round vessel-ray pits, homocellular multiseriate, rays with upright cells.

Stem slightly lobed, with ray dilatations, and many lactifers in a thin-walled parenchymatic tissue of the cortex.
