Indistinct rings, in short and long radial multiples, simple perforation, vessel diameter 80-150µmround pits, fibers thin-walled, apotracheal parenchyma, round and scalariform vessel-ray pits, heterocellular 2-4 seriate rays with a few prostrate cells and some rows of upright cells.

Phloem with dilatations, groups and bands of sclereids in tangential rows, many crystal druses and also crystal sand. Without lactifers.
