Distinct rings, semi-ring-porous, vessels in groups, vesssels thick-walled, simple perforations, scalariform intervessel pits, vessel diameter 40-80µm, fibers thick-walled, parenchyma vasicentric and confluent, ray width 3-8 cells, heterocelluar with a few upright cells, ray cells unlignified, crystals absent.
