Distinct rings, semi-ring-porous, vessels mostly solitary,vessels thick-walled, simple perforations, round intervessel pits, vessel diameter 30-50 µm, parenchyma paratracheal vasicentric and confluent, ray width 1-2 cells, homocellular, prostrate cells crystals absent.

With ray dilatations, tangential rows of sclerenchyma in the cortex, sclerenchyama absent in the phloem, with prismatic crystals.
