Distinct rings diffuse porous, vessels in short radial multiples, simple perforations, vessel diameter 50-100µm, with vestured pits, fibers thick-walled, with septate fibers, parenchyma paratracheal vasicentric, ray width 2-4 cells, homocellular, square cells, with prismatic crystals in axial chambers.
