Distinct rings, semi-ring-porous, vessels grouped in dendritic patterns, simple perforations, with helical thickenings, vessel diameter >30-50µm, fibers thin to thick-walled, parenchyma vasicentric and terminal, ray width 1-3 cells, homocellular procument or square cells, crystals absent.
