Distinct rings, ring-porous, vessels in diagonal and dendritic patterns, simple perforations, vessel diameter 70 – 140µm, with helical thickenings, with vestured intervessel pits, fibers thick-walled, with tension wood, parenchyma vasicentric and terminal, ray width 5 -10 cells, homocellular with procumbent cells.
