Xylem

Distinct rings, vessels solitary and in radial multiples, simple perforations, vessel diameter 30-60µm, with round and vestured intervessel pits, groups of fibers fibers thick-walled, parenchyma vasicentric ray width 8-15 cells, more or less homocellular with square cells with prismatic crystals along the the groups of sclerenchyma cells.

Phloem

With tangential bands of collapsed sieve tubes, with ray dilatations, irregular small groups of thick-walled sclerenchyma cells, with prismatic crystals.
