Distinct rings, diffuse-porous, vessels in radial multiples tangentially arranged, simple perforations, vessel diameter 40-50µm, with vestured intervessel pits, round intervessel-pits, fibers thick-walled, parenchyma vasicentric , apotracheal in tangential aggregates and pervasive, ray width 5-8 cells, heterocellular with many rows of square cells. With many prismatic crystals in the rays and axial chambers.
