Xylem

Distinct rings, semi-ring to ring-porous, vessels solitary and in more or less radial groups, simple perforation, earlywood vessel diameter 80-120µm, with thin helical thickenings, fibers with large pits, fibers thin- to thick-walled, parenchyma apotracheal, rays uniseriate and 3-5 seriate, partially with sheet cells, heterocellular with many prostrate and a few upright cells with a few crystal druses in rays.

Phloem

With many phloem and a few larger parenchyma cells, sclerenchyma in long radial groups, with crystal druses, tissue radially splitted, multilayered periderm with regular arranged cells, mostly compressed.
