Distinct rings, diffuse-porous, vessels in short radial multipels, simple perforation, vessel diameter 30-50µm, large vessel-ray pits, with tylosis, fibers with small pits, fibers thin- to thick-walled, parenchyma not to recognize, rays uniseriate, heterocellular with prostrate and a few rows of upright marginal cells.

With tangential layers of sieve-tubes and parenchyma cells, tangential bands of sclerenchyma cells, with ray dilatations, with prismatic crystals.
