Distinct rings, semi-ring-porous, vessels mainly in tangential rarely in dendritic groups, vessel diameter 30–50mµ, simple perforations, fibers with small pits, fibers thick-walled, parenchyma in uniseriate tangential intraannual layers and paratracheal, rays 4-8 seriate, rays unlignified, homogeneous with prostrate cells.

Groups of sieve tubes and parenchyma in tangential layers, tangentially arranged layers of thick-walled sclerenchyma between unlignified rays. With a few prismatic crystals.
