Distinct rings, diffuse porous, vessels in irregular radial and dendritic groups, vessel diameter 30 – 50mµ, simple perforations, with thin helical thickenings, fibers with small pits, fibers thick-walled, parenchyma not to recognize and terminal, rays 1-3 seriate, heterogeneous with many prostrate and a few rows of upright cells.
