Indistinct rings, ring porous, 150 -200 µm in diameter, earlywood vessels solitary or in short radial multipels, simple perforations, thin-walled tylosis, fibers thin to thick-walled, parenchyma paratracheal and in large tangential bands, ray width 2-4 cells, heterocellular with central prostrate and a few marginal square or upright cells, with prismatic crystals in axial parenchyma cells
