Distinct rings, diffuse porous, vessels 30-70 µm in diameter, vessels in radial multipels ray-vessel pits with small apertures, scalariform perforations with >10 bars, fibers thin to thick walled, fibers with small pits,with tension wood, parenchyma apotracheal-diffuse and marginal, aggregate rays, rays homocellular, rays uniseriate with prostrate cells.
