Distinct rings, diffuse porous, vessels 30-70 µm in diameter, vessels in radial multipels ray-vessel pits with small apertures, scalariform perforations with >10 bars, fibers thin to thick walled, with tension wood, fibers with small pits, parenchyma apotracheal-diffuse, rays homocellular,rays uniseriate with prostrate cells.
