Distinct rings, diffuse porous, vessels 30-70 µm in diameter, vessels in radial multiples ray-vessel pits with very small apertures, scalariform perforations with >10 bars, fibers thin to thick walled, fibers with small pits, with tension wood, parenchyma apotracheal-diffuse, rays homocellular, rays 1-3-seriate with prostrate cells.

Phloem

Uniserate layers of sieve-tubes an parenchyma cells, tangential bands of sclereids in cortext and phloem, with crystal druses. Dense phellem with regularly arranged rectangular cells.
