Distinct growth zones, diffuse porous, 30-60 µm in diameter, vessels in long radial multipels, simple perforations, vessels thick-walled, fibers thin-to thick-walled with small pits, parenchyma paratracheal, rays uniseriate and 1-2 seriate, homocellular with prostrate cells.
