Distinct to indistinct rings, vessels in groups arranged in tangential layers, simple perforations, round intervessel pits, intervessel pits alternate, vessel diameter 50-70 µm, parenchyma paratracheal and apotracheal in aggregates, ray width 3-6 cells, homocellular with square and upright cells. Pith with muscilage canals.
