Distinct rings, diffuse to semi-ring-porous, often >60-90 µm in diameter, vessels in short and long radial multiples, simple perforations, fibers thin-walled, fibers with small pits, parenchyma apotracheal-diffuse, rays homocellular, 2-3 seriate, rays enlarged at ring boundaries.

Phloem

Phloem with distinct tangential layers of Sieve-tube/parenchyma and sclereid-bands, distinct ray dilatations, phellem with radial orientated flat cork-cells. With a few crystal druses in the cortex.
