Xylem

Distinct rings, semi-ring-porous, vessels in long radial and diagonal multipels, simple perforations, earlywood vessel diameter 20-40µm, with helical thickenings, fibers thick-walled, with large pits, axial parenchyma rare paratracheal and marginal, rays 2-3 seriate, mostly homocellular with prostrate cells, with a many large prismatic crystals in rays.

Phloem

Distinct tangential layers of parenchyma and sieve tubes. Sieve tubes collapsed in older rings. With ray dilatations, solitary sclerenchyma cells, many prismatic crystals. With many ducts.
