Distinct rings, semi-ring-porous, vessels in long radial multipels, simple perforations, earlywood vessel diameter 20-40µm, fibers thick-walled, with large pits, axial parenchyma rare paratracheal and apotracheal, rays 1-2 seriate, mostly homocellular with prostrate cells, with a large prismatic crystals in axial chambered cells.

Phloem

Distinct tangential layers of parenchyma and sieve tubes. Sieve tubes collapsed in older rings. With ray dilatations, solitary sclerenchyma cells, many prismatic crystals. With many ducts.
