Distinct rings, semi-ring-porous, vessels in groups and tangential rows, scalariform perforations with 5-8 bars and s1mple perforations, intervessel pits mostly scalariform, vessel diameter 20-40 µm, vessel frequency 200 - 300 mm2, fibers with large pits, fibers thin-to thick-walled, parenchyma paratracheal in aggregates, rays 1-3 seriate, heterocellular with prostrate and many upright cells.,
