Distinct rings, ring boundary very small, diffuse-porous, vessels in groups, scalariform perforations with >15 bars, intervessel pits scalariform and round, vessel diameter 15-30 µm, vessel frequency 300 - 500 mm2, fibers with large pits, fibers thin- walled, parenchyma not to recognize, rays uniseriate, homocellular with prostrate cells.
