Xylem

Distinct rings, diffuse-porous, vessels solitary and in groups, scalariform perforations with 10-15 bars, intervessel pits rarely scalariform and mostly round, vessel diameter 25-40 µm, vessel frequency 300 - 600 mm2, fibers with large pits, fibers thin-walled, parenchyma paratracheal, rays uniseriate, homocellular with upright cells and 2-3 seriate homocellular with prostrate and with upright cells.
