Rings distinct, semi-ring porous, vessels solitary or in groups, simple perforations, thin-walled fibers, apotracheal and paratracheal parenchyma, uniseriate and biseriate rays with upright cells. Druses in pith. Few groups of sieve cells at the beginning of secondary xylem.
