Rings distinct, ring porousand semi-ring porous, vessels solitary, simple perforations, vestured pits, thin-to thick-walled fibers, parenchyma apotracheal in uniseriate tangential bands and marginal and scanty paratracheal, heterogeneous rays with 1 to 2 cells, with 2-4 upright cells. Groups of sieve cells at the beginning of the secondary xylem.
