Indistinct rings, isolated vessel/parenchyma groups in vesselless fiber zone (intervascular parenchyma). Vessel diameter 20 ¿ 50µm, vessel frequency vessel frequency 200-500 mm2, reticulate vessel-pitting, parenchyma cells with tannins, rayless, crystals absent.
