Xylem

Distinct rings, semi-ring porous, solitary vessels solitary or in groups, central part like other Sedum species, peripheric part more or less vesselless, distinct intra-annual tangential bands of fibers in the center, outer part with large marginal parenchyma bands, very large rays (= characteristic for that species), interxylary cork, crystals absent. The structure in the inner and outer part is different.
