Distinct rings, semi-ring porous, vessels mostly solitary, vessel diameter 20 ¿ 50µm, vessel frequency 100-200 mm2, simple perforations, gash-like intervessel pits, small spots of included phloem, fibers absent or thin-walled, pervasive parenchyma, rayless, ray width 5->10 cells, exclusively upright ray cells, without crystals.
