Indistinct rings, semi-ring porous, vessels solitary, vessel diameter 20 ¿ 50µm, vessel frequency 100-200 mm2, simple perforations, gash-like intervessel pits, thick-walledfibers in groups without vessels, pervasive parenchyma, siphonostele with more or less isolated vascular bundles, ray width 3->10 cells, rays with exclusively square and upright ray cells, with crystal druses in the rays.
