Distinct rings, semi-ring porous, vessels mostly solitary or in small groups, vessel diameter 20 ¿ 50µm, vessel frequency 100-200 mm2, simple perforations, siphonostele consisting on single vascular bundles, fibers thin to thick-walled, in small groups, extended pervasive and little paratracheal parenchyma, ray width 3->10 cells, exclusively square and upright ray cells, with crystal druses in the rays.

Distinct ray dilatations, groups of sclereids at the outside of the phloem, with few crystal druses.
