Xylem

Indistinct rings, vessels solitary and in radial multipels, vessel diameter 40 ¿ 60 mµ, simple perforation, minutely bordered fibers thin to thick-walled, parenchyma absent, with interxylary phloem. The zones of vascular bundles form ring like bands with some irregularities. Ray width 4-9 cells, ray cells thin walled and unlignified, crystals absent.
