Indistinct rings, vessels solitary and in groups vessel diameter 30 - 50 mµ, vessels thick walled (2mµ), fibers absent, simple perforations, intervascular pits round, pervasive parenchyma, rays 5->10 cells, included phloem concentric with single vascular bundles, conjunctive tissue thin-walled, with crystal sand.
