Indistinct rings, vessels mainly in long radial multiples, vessel diameter 30-50 mµ, vessels thick-walled, simple perforations, intervascular pits round, fibers thin to thick-walled, paratracheal parenchyma, few rays with i-3 cells or rayless, included phloem concentric, continuous, with isodiametric crystals and crystal sand.
