Distinct rings, diffuse to semi-ring porous, vessels in dendritic patterns, simple perforations, fine spiral thickenings, earlywood vessel diameter 20 - 30µm, fibers thick-walled, with fiber tracheids, parenchyma absent or not to recognize, ray width 2-4 cell, all ray cells prostrate, ray height >1mm, crystals absent.
