Distinct rings, diffuse porous, vessels indendritic pattern, simple perforations, earlywood vessel diameter 20 - 35┬Ám, fibers thin to thick-walled, most fibers with nuclei, parenchyma absent or not to recognize, ray width 6-12 cells, with sheet cells, all ray cells square, crystals absent.

Tangential layers of collapsed sieve cells, tangential bands of sclerenchymatic cells in the cortex on top of vascular bundles. Crystals absent.
