Indistinct rings, diffuse porous, vessels solitary vessel diameter <20µm vessel frequency 200-300 mm2, scalariform perforations with 15-25 bars, scalariform intervessel pits with transitions to scalarform perforations, fibers thin to thick-walled, with round pits, apotracheal parenchyma, rays uniseriate, rays homocellular exclusively with upright cells. isolated single sclereids in the pith.
