Indistinct rings, vessels solitary and in small groups, vessel diameter 20-50µm vessel frequency 200-300 mm2, scalariform perforations with 20 - 40 bars, fibers thin to thick-walled, with small round pits, apotracheal parenchyma, ray width 1-2 cells, rays homocellular with several extremely high marginal cells.

Phloem

Small groups of sieve cells between parenchyma in the phloem, groups sclereids in the phloem and the cortex. Mostly one big sclereids is surrounded by few small ones. Crystals absent.
