Distinct rings remaining vascular bundles, semi-ring porous, vessels solitary and in groups, earlywood vessel diameter 80-110µm, fibers with small pits, simple perforations, round intervascular pits, parenchyma paratracheal, apotracheal and marginal, vascular bundles mostly rayless, sometimes with large secondary rays, very large rays between the bundles.

Phloem

Bands sieve elements alternating with parenchyma cells, tangentially arranged in a thin walled parenchymatic tissue. Radial oriented groups of sclerenchyma lateral of the phloem part of the vascular bundles. Many phellem bands.
