Distinct rings, ring porous, earlywood vessels solitary, latewood vessel often in tangential rows, earlywood vessel diameter 150-200mµ, simple perforation at the axial ends, round intervessel pitting, fibers thin-walled, fibers with bordered pits with slit-like apertures, parenchyma apotracheal, vascular bundle form remaining but with secondary rays, rays very large, locally with sheet cells, ray cells unlignified with square cells. Without crystals.
